Trees, plants are talking to us. What you should do is know how to listen.
One story they tell is about the changing season of the year.
In spring and summer, most trees are green and the pigment that causes this color is chlorophyll. As sunlight falls on the leaves, chlorophyll absorbs the light as energy.
Plants use this energy to turn carbon dioxide (from the air) and water (sucked up through their roots) into carbohydrates and oxygen (released into the air for us to breathe).
This process calls photosynthesis.
Sure, everyone has learned this process during high school maybe in science class. Hope you can still remember.
